Legendary surfer Woodbridge Parker Woody Brown passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Hale Makua (Home of Respected Elders), the long-term care facility in Kahului, where he had often visited and cheered up his fellow seniors. Mr. Brown was 96.
