On August 19 Lost Highway will release Pass It Around, the new album from Donavon Frankenreiter. Pass It Around boasts 10 new songs from the musician/pro-surfer, and also features some special guests and a new approach for Frankenreiter.

Pass It Around features Donavon's band; Matt Grundy - bass, Eric Brigmond - keys and Craig Barnette – drums, along with special guests Ben Harper (on title track), G. Love (on “Sing A Song”) and Grant Lee Phillips, who co-wrote and performs on “Mansions In The Sand.”

Donavon is such a man of many hats, when he was a grom he lived inland and had a sick mini ramp in his backyard..... We were older the D........ We would go to his house after school and skate his ramp...... He was so sick on the ramp air master.... this is early 1990 all you groms reading this... and to see the soul in his surfing like art and music nice to see e can change and make his path his own style.....

On the early 90's we did a few surf trips with Donavon to Chile...he just ripped every wave he rode....we surfed el Gringo, Punta 2 and of course we scored.........i remember him with his guitar always playing music....doobie brothers was one of his favorites.......great memories with Donnie in Perú & Chile....Hope to see him playing some day here in Perú. Congratulations my friend & aloha from Perú..
