Event 3: The GameCreated by Brad Gerlach
Last but certainly not least, we are proud to announce the inclusion of a revolutionaryprofessional surf contest created by veteran surfer Brad Gerlach entitled The Game.
Held at Cardiff Reef on Friday, November 1 , The Game is comprised of 2 teams of thebest 8 professional surfers from the San Diego and Orange County communities. TeamSan Diego will surf against Team Orange County for the winning Cup and county pride.The format is similar to NBA playoffs equipped with coaches and a halftimeperformance. Early support proves that we will draw media coverage to the event andtelevision programming will be developed for Fox Sports Net domestically and theInternationally syndicated Extreme Sports Network.
Sponsor Packages
Sponsor packages will be created for inclusion in all 3 events: The Par 3 Charity Golf Experience, TheGame, and the Cardiff Classic and Beach Fair. They are available through the Cardiff Chamber ofCommerce. Packages for individual events may be created if desired.
