Quick to point the finger at no-good-stoner-surfers, the LA Times reported yesterday that a “surfer” was arrested at the U.S./Mexico border for allegedly attempting to paddle $74,400 worth of marijuana into the United States.

Judging from the timeworn (likely water-logged), finless gun he was paddling, he was probably not a surfer. He was also probably not very smart. The “Mexican native” was captured by the Border Patrol and sent back to his home country—where he’ll likely refill his duffel bag and return next month on an easier-to-paddle SUP.
