GERRANIMALS: Brad Gerlach joins forces with Globe on the Globe Surf Team. The Globe press release says, "Gerlach, one of surfing's most charismatic and outspoken riders...". I couldn't agree more. Gerr rips, he's got heaps of style, he's powerful...god, I sound like an ASP pro. Mealy-mouthed.
FANNING SEEKS FUEL: REEF again put its adrenaline seeking fuel head, Mick Fanning, through his paces in an SS Commodore at the Holden Performance Driving Centre. A self confessed Holden freak, Fanning was in "Holden Heaven" at the racetrack near his hometown on the Gold Coast. When asked what he thought about the idea of driving at speeds of over 220km per hour Mick said: "It was fun mate. Taught me a lot as well. Hopefully I won't kill myself now!"
