BRING BACK THE BUTTS: Reef footwear recently got hold of the URL reef.com. Some dot-com loser who wouldn't sell it to Fernando & Co originally held it. Reef is claiming the acquisition is "a huge step forward to reinforce the strength of the Brand's global identity." Here's an idea: bring back the butt floss ads! That'll reinforce a lot more.

BILLYGOAT GOES FAR: Billygoat distribution has signed on to distribute DVD and VHS of Gregory Schell's documentary THE FAR SHORE on the legendary surf travels of SURFER Magazine's Naughton/Petersen.

LOGS NO KA OI: Sushone Sempell is putting together a new website dedicated to longboarding--both surf and skate--on the Island of Maui. I checked it out and it's still being improved. They've got a store front, so if you're in the market, go check it out.
