SPEAK YOUR MIND: What Happens When You Call Your Last Wave?
Should I stay or should I go?
There is no escaping it, every time you paddle out, there will be a last wave. It's inevitable. The question is: do you verbalize it? Do you tell anyone (including yourself) that its your last wave? If you do, what happens?

If you believe in stuperstitions then you all have the boogyman in your closets and monsters under your beds. Grow a set hop a hui and go straight onto dry reef face first you mamby pambies that'll up your core score for shore.

what about when you say last wave and you don't surf it well and have to go back out so you don't end on a bad one

I never call it, I just think it and that is enough to make it go flat 9 times out of 10.

Whether I say it or think it, it always seems to get harder one way or another. It dies. I'm suddenly totally outta position. I catch one but surf it badly and can't end on it. Surfer's code is always on my mind.
