Tiago Pires will be the rookie of the year, without a doubt! No question about the talent of Dane Reynolds or Jordy Smith but Tiago will have a lot to say when it comes to power surfing and tube riding. Remember Teahupo? Didn´t get that heat with Joel Parkinson because of the interference, but we all saw it right? Fiji? The best heat of the day with Taj. Dane's surf is awesome and I would like to see him in the top rank for sure. Jordy is also going to show us his arsenal in future heats but I have a lot of faith in Tiago, he's got this huge attitude and I really hope he gets good results this year. The man has been fighting for a long time for this and he's really going for a trophy. Check the rankings of 2007 WQS and remember that Tiago was ranked #1 for almost half of the season, unfortunately he finished #5 but I believe there is something still to be shown from him. Força SACA!!!
