In celebration of SURFER’S fiftieth anniversary, we’d like to put a call out to you, our loyal readers, to hear what these pages have meant to you through the years.

SURFER'S half-century ride has depended on your support, and we want to know what you’ve gotten from it. Share with us your magazine memories – the good, the bad, and the ugly by sending emails to SurferEdit@surfermag.com. The most poignant of which will be published in SURFER’S 50th Anniversary Issue.

I have the 40 years of Surfer poster framed. It has always been the place where people stop to take a closer look. I think that all who stare at the covers over the years live through the stories and images, wishing they were their own. It is a constant reminder of what an addiction the ocean is to me.
