Once relegated to the ranches of Wyoming, the yuppified version from the dot com era offered comfort, determination and techno style. After dot com turned into dot bomb the behemoths littered used car lots.
Honorable Mention: Nissan Pathfinder
2000 Nissan Xterra
Surfers flocked to this rugged back-to-basics SUV. For one thing, it was relatively affordable. More importantly the Xterra was core. No Starbucks or soccer moms allowed.
