3. NAME A SPOT
“Conan Hayes and I found our own just down from this place we used to surf on the Big Island,” recalls Shane Dorian. “It wasn’t much of a wave, but it was ours. But when it came to naming it, he wanted his name to come first. We tried everything, but somehow nothing worked, so we ended up calling it ‘Shane-Ans’.”
