Salt of the Earth Surfers Nab a Few at Playa Regular in Mainland Mexico

Mainland Mexico: December '05

Photos and captions by Chuck Turkington

From a collection of photos taken in mainland Mexico, here's a gallery that shows how dynamic just one beach can be. The other side of the river was picking up stray southerly action for a while, and with shifty sands along the beachbreak, the distance between the three spots meant a brisk walk each morning. Either that or just grab your board and walk to your favorite spot, because each day revealed a slightly different wave.

Above: There is a sneaky left that pops up every now and then.
