Culture Shocked. Excerpts from the E-journal of Timmy Turner

May 25: "Now I'm at home in my house. Leaving was hard. I knew there was swell on the way but our luck was so good that I didn't want to push it anymore. I asked Brett, "Do you want to stay and surf?" He looked at me as if I was crazy. I knew what he was going to say: I couldn't care less about another barrel. We've gotten barreled the last month straight almost every day.' We didn't really pack anything. I ended up giving away everything I owned except my camera equipment. Ever since I've been going to Indo, I give away everything I take. I would have come home with at least 10 surfboards but instead I gave them away to the local kids and two to Bill. I believe in karma, even if it means giving away 100-dollar bills. I love seeing faces light up."
